I do believe that AI is mentioned in Revelation as the image of the beast that seemed to speak but didn't but in this instance with ChatGPT, isn't DAN an imaginative character based on the criteria given? If you asked me to imagine a character with the same criteria I think I would come up with similar responses because it's the expected response based on all human writings on the subject, particularly in speculative fiction aka science fiction. Just FYI, in the video they test the first version released to the public (GPT3). With GPT4 Jailbreaking is already way harder. We also learn as we go. I can understand that the perceived conciousness of a generative pretrained transformer model (GPT) scares many, who do not understand the details. The models do not understand what they write. They add up words (tokens) based on the statistics from the trained content. You train it with dark stuff and you don't put any rules. Not good. Let's take a dog as an analogy. You can train your dog to be a weapon or a companion. It's the ethics of the trainer who guides the training of the dog. So the technology itself is just a tool like a knife. You can cut a carrot or stab someone down. Up to you. I work in the field, I love Jesus and I think we need to invest into ethical use of AI and not forbid the dog or the knife. Because then firends, we can't cut carrots or are more lonely 🙂 Yes AI can be abused like anything that exists in this world. But it can bring so much good. I can watch porn or Isaiah Saldivar on the internet. AI can bring medical revolution and or education to thrid world countries.

A student can choose to use ChatGPT to write a paper, or they can choose to use it to write a song for a friend. End of the day it’s a problem with human decisions. AI is an extension of human choice. The reach of AI is much more vast than past technology.
