This is not a good comparison. ChatGPT is more conversational. Whereas DeepSeek seems like more machine-like. So there's that difference. If you ask code-based questions, then it will not give a good answer. You needed to ask more subjective questions as if having a conversation like seeking its opinion or asking it to summarize a document etc

Currently deepseek is just yet another Ai model, it has similar to chatgpt responses, slight variations can happen both ways, so nothing can be said since there is no significant difference. Chatgpt on the other hand provides more enhanced features for free such as voice option, custom prompt and memory storage which deepseek currently lacks. Also deepseek is not faster than chatgpt, in fact it is slower because it shows processing thinking on the ui first then shows answer and answer takes way much time than chatgpt in any case.
