But agreed to the pointers 😂
I guess Nikhil is just doing these podcasts to invest in new stocks 🤣🤣🤣
Nikhil in corner
“Itne paise ka mai kya kare”!
movie recommendation in this podcast: upgrade, transcendence
Varun Mayya theory can be true after 100 years not before that.
Easy for them to say, they would not have to go to being a petrol pump guy, and then they say why are peasants angry.
There is a timestamp called “What jobs with AI create” instead of “What jobs will AI create”
Aren't we a transformer by born? and got fed up or tuned in the name of mother tongue, not limited to cognitive abilities but also physical abilities?
Just wondering!
love how Varun's posture changes throughout the interview! Demure and held inwards in the beginning, as perhaps the youngest and least mutual in the panel, and eventually resting his arm over the chair, chest wide, putting himself over as much space as possible, as his expertise unfolds!😄
This is the only Podcast where I get to handout with Nikhil kamath. Amazing topics, amazing personalities. Its a dream to hangout with you Nikhil, in person. I think of you as a brother and Mentor.
I am not sure if it's humans who are upgrading this AI or it's that AI itself trying to manipulate us into upgrading it since it's not capable of doing that as of yet on it's own and we are not able stop ourselves from doing it cuz mostly people think that if they are not gonna do it then someone else will but it's like that end scene from the movie The Dark Knight and we seems to be manipulated into thinking like that.
I’ve listed to a few of these podcasts and it definitely gives food for thought. Sometimes it feels a bit elitist which leads me to wonder if the affluent youth is your target audience ?
Drive a drone into a plane , this is 12th physics failed argument , does he know the weight difference ? plane flies at 30kft altitude , I mean kuch bhi ?!!
I hate that weird laughter the guy puts in , now n then
Please have varun again on the podcast for some tech related topic.
The long term effect of any advanced technology/ AI in my opinion would be that the human evolution will work in reverse. Humans will become dumber, each generation will continue to become dumber because they will have access to technology handing even the most simplest tasks. Example would be like in our childhood we memorized phone numbers. Such things have become impossible now, because we now have technology doing that task for us. Future generations will not even have this ability.
Thank you Nikhil, for calling out Varun’s ridiculousness on building a wall and living inside by building all infrastructure from scratch to sustain. I thought he was a smart chap till this section. Now I think he’s just hostile and vulnerable to Sam Altman and other’s opinions. And even his examples of robots with AI taking over the world is the stupidest analogy, maybe he’s watching too much science fiction movies. Obviously the robots will have a way to be controlled. They are not going to be let to do anything they are commanded. In that case, all cars would be driving in their own direction and all machines would be operating as they like. I was hoping for a more optimistic chat on AI with a brighter future 😅
Most annoying tanmay bhat
Why is tanmay bhat in this podcast ? He's in the influencers podcast that's cool but why here in a tech podcast ?
One thing I noticed on @Nikhil Kamath's channel is that he's very observant in general,as an example asking questions like whether cricket is becoming a dying sport.
It has been an year and I do come back to these talks 😅 Nikhil's podcasts have replaced netflix series and news for me. I choose to listen to the podcast rather than watch anything else on digital platform. Content being the motivation and how we lack around us. With so much content online but still we keep on searching and scrolling. So when I stop here and consume slowly and rewind by choice of curiousty and absorb willingly, these talks are gold. Wish we can have more people at top doing similar talks.
them eating food while talking is so besties vibes
What are they eating??
Imagine a Karen AI
2:24:33 इनका बस चले तो ये बचे-खुचों पर भी tax लगा दें। Better that agricultural income is not taxed in India or else we'll be dying for food like so-called economically well-off nations as Middle East, US etc!! The large scale farmers are rich due to commercial crops. While those farmers who are growing the ancient/traditional crops are very few and work on a very small scale. These small scale farmers are the reason that such rare crops/herbs which are very difficult to produce are still being grown. No credit being given to them, they're living on subsistence but still continuing their noble job for the sake of heritage!
It's phenomenal how the 'tech' they are discussing feels redundant within a year.
Chat gpt has real time data.
Nobody talks about autogpt any more.
Gpt Plugins came and went.
Nvedia is there among the top 3 so they have enough PR to worry about.
Bard is decommissioned.
Gpt 4.o is out.
Is almost as if we are expecting and getting used to the speed of innovation but not too sure about adoption that leads to disruption.
And oh! Koo is a thing of the past.
