This needs… a lot of improvement before I consider it an upgrade from vanilla Skyrim when it comes to being immersive. The talking all sounds like you are talking to an informative VI reading a script generated by Google's AI.

I used to picture the dragon born talking to their followers during travel.

something that people don't talk about when it comes to AI and gaming in the future it something i think will change gaming forever. there's Chat AI, there's Voice AI theres Image AI, there's Coding AI, even 3d modeling AI and Video AI and im sure we will have some sort of animation AI for 3d modeling at some point. All these are still in early stages of course but they will evolve and improve in time imagine a Game based on an AI game engine( like for example Unreal Engine with implemented AI features). This game will be developed like a normal game would be, and also use the same techniques from mods like this video as wel as the other AI stuff i listed and more., This could help the game create new things on its own after the game releases. so basicly lets say the game was not developed to have NPC follow you. but the AI as you play the game understands what you want the NPC to do and WIll create the coding for following, Create the animation if it is not in place, and the Character will follow you. theres so many other things that could be done. This ofcourse would not happen for another 20 years im sure

and this is the start of the AI that will kill us all… a hive mind of AI's working together like an ant hill to form one collective whole greater than the sum of it's parts. If it ever combines, say good bye you your ass. Because tech bro's are too busy asking if they can, and no time at all asking if they should.

the main issue with an AI companion remembering your adventures (as someone that is studying them considering it for a masters degree) is it would get slower and slower or draw more and more power from your system the more it had to remember. though i think it could mitigate it a little bit by not making the AI check their memory but if you have done it. Your completed quests and explored maps might let it pretend to have a memory of that with you. but it wont remember the sats its self unless you want the loading time on that to get ridiculous.

Terrible as is. Voices sound robotic, a la AI. This is an immersion killer and, thus, a game killer. If Bethesda cuts a corner and does this to its games they'll sink fast. Users want real sounding, real paced human voice responses and questions….great human actors or much, much, much better AI so that users think the character voice is from a human being!!!

I'm sure the voice will improve in time but right now that robotic voice would drive me crazy
